Jack Pfeifer, 81, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side in Sanford, FL on January 15, 2016. He was born on November 10, 1934 in Cherryville, NC and was raised in Illion NY, the youngest of five children. He served in the United States Marine Corp. He was a proud member of the Disabled American Veterans, American Legion, Sanford Moose Lodge, and Illion Marine Corp League.

He is survived by his wife Lisa of 36 years and his sons and their spouses Jacob (Stephanie) and Jonathan (Briana) Pfeifer; two children Leslie Lopez and Gilbert (Rose) Pfeifer from a former marriage; 5 grandchildren: Nicholas, Ivy, Scarlet, Sophie, and Eden; and numerous nieces and nephews, and one special niece, Katie Pfeifer, who assisted with his care.

He was predeceased by his brothers Howard, Dave, Bob and Carl Pfeifer.
Jack will be missed for his wit, laughter, advice, and his love of gardening and the piano.
