Jack E. Aurand died peacefully in Winter Park Hospital (Advent Health WP) on August 1, 2023 in Winter Park, Florida at the age of 88.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann, sons, Jeff and Scott, a daughter, Michelle (Micki) Taylor and her husband Greg. He is also survived by his 5 grandsons: Seth, Justin, Kyle Chris and Jake and 5 great-grandchildren: Bentley, Savannah, Evan, Myra and Hattie, and a sister, Nancy Shollenbarger. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bert and Mary Aurand, a son, Chris and a great-grandson, Jaxon.

Jack was born in 1935 to Bert and Mary Aurand in Charles City, Iowa. He is a Navy veteran. He graduated from Upper Iowa University in 1960 with a degree in Business Administration. He married Mary Ann Nettleton of Greene, Iowa in1958. After moving to Cedar Rapids, Iowa he began working for Collins Radio. In 1963 he moved his family to Orlando, Florida after accepting a position with The Martin Company (Lockheed Martin). He is retired from Lockheed Martin.

A funeral mass will be offered on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 11:00am at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church (861 Maitland Avenue, Altamonte Springs, Florida 32701). Fr.
