Obituary for J. Winifred Nicarry
J. Winifred Nicarry, 84 of Casselberry, Florida passed away Tuesday June 10, 2014. Mrs. Nicarry was born on November 28, 1929 in Hanover, Pennsylvania to Anthony and Ethel Fulco. Services for Mrs. Nicarry will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Sanford, Saturday June 14, 2014.

"Ms. Winnie" was a permanent fixture for 17 years at Casselberry Elementary School where she was Crossing Guard for the Seminole County Sherrif's office. Her smiling face and bright demeanor made the day for literally thousands of kids and their parents during her tenure. In 2010 the Elementary school yearbook was dedicated to her. This past April she was again recognized, this time by the PTSA, with a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Winnie sang for many years with the Sounds of Sunshine Chorus chapter of the Sweet Adelines. She sang in quartets, duets and participated in many Competitions (both State and national), Holiday concerts at Disney and countless other choral events.

Perhaps no other part of her life was more important to her than her Christian Faith. Over the years she served in many facets of the Church. She was an active member, having served as an officer for the Women of the Church, on the Board (and as Secretary of Gifts and Bequests), she served as Church Hostess and helped build and ride the Church float in Christmas Pageants. She received the Presbyterian Women's Life Membership Award. She rang bells for the Salvation Army at Christmas time and was always there to serve... and of course, to sing in the Choir.

She is survived by her brother Anthony Fulco who currently resides with his spouse Betty Jane, in Delaware. Her 3 Sisters preceded her in death (Shirley Mort, Doris Markle, Betty Blettner).

She will be dearly missed by all who knew her!
