Iris V. Abreu of Casselberry, passed away on July 19, 2020 in Altamonte Springs FL.
She was born in Vega Alto, Puerto Rico, and moved to NY City as a young child with her family. Later in life, she finally found her true love, Ruben Abreu. Their marriage brought her joy and love and starting a new life in Florida.
Iris is predeceased by her mother Amelia Chiesa, sisters Olga Ramirez, Fanny Davila, her brother Joseph Chiesa, her loving husband Ruben Abreu, and her eldest son Joseph Anthony Colon.
She is survived by her son Richard Colon Sr. and his wife Jean of Stratford CT. Grandchildren Richard Colon Jr. and his wife Rose of Middletown CT, Michael Colon and his wife Sarah of Tucson AZ, and Stephen Colon and Samantha of Brooklyn NY. And her beloved great-grandchildren, Alex, Jack and Thalia.
She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews that loved her dearly and she loved them all in return.
