Irene Sison Wilkinson, age 88, passed away peacefully in her memory care apartment in Maitland, Florida, on January 7, 2025.

Irene is survived by her only daughter, Brenda Wilkinson and her son in law, Nader Moinfar, her three grandsons: Kamran Moinfar, Shayan Moinfar and Rayan Moinfar of Longwood, Florida. Also surviving is her older sister Elena Limenzon, and her younger brother Beny Sison of the Philippines. She is preceded in death by her husband of 35 years Raymond Wilkinson of Bethesda, Maryland, her sisters: Zeny Sticher of Basel, Switzerland and Fely de la Cruz and brother Ronald Sison of the Philippines.

Irene was born on June 28, 1936, in Bataan, Philippines. She graduated from Far Eastern University with a degree in education. She married Raymond Wilkinson on May 18, 1968. After moving to Bethesda, Maryland she was a devoted mother. She also had jobs at Brenda's high school, the Academy of the Holy Cross, and then also worked in administration at the National Institute of Health.

A funeral is scheduled for Saturday, January 25 at 11 am at Nativity Catholic Church, 3255 N. Ronald Reagan Blvd in Longwood, Florida. All are welcome to celebrate Irene's life. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Cure Alzheimer's Fund ( https://curealz.org/ ) would be appreciated. Thank you.
