Obituary

Beauty Winslow of Orlando, Florida passed away on Friday, May 2, 2014 at the Hospice of the Comforter. She was born in Winchester, Virginia and came to Orlando during WWII to be married at the Orlando Air Base. At 16 years old, she was the youngest person ever married at the Air Base Chapel. The ceremony was performed by Major J.P. Morrison, base chaplain on June 3rd 1942.

She was a member of AARP Chapter 18 and a member of the Red Hat Society. She worked for American Fire and Casualty for 30 years. She attended the Mayor's academy and the Orlando Police ride along program. She love to travel and meet new people.

She was survived by 3 children: Mary Ann Castle of Tennessee, Roberta Lee Drysdale of Idaho and Rodney Berkheimer of Florida; 6 grandchildren: Wesley, Bonnie, David, Raymond, Michele and Rodney Jr.

A Memorial Service is to be held at the College Park United Methodist Church on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 11:00am with a reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the College Park United Methodist Church, 644 W. Princeton Street, Orlando, FL 32804.
