Hugh Quintin Agostini passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, in Orlando, Florida, on December 9, 2025, at the age of 79.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Sylvia; his daughters, Jeannell White and Nicole Agostini; his cherished granddaughters, Gianna White and Gabriella White; and his siblings, Gilda Rodriguez, Atis Agostini, and Bianca Agostini. He was preceded in death by his parents, Geoffrey Agostini and Lucille Taylor, and his brother, Brian Agostini.

Hugh was born on October 31, 1946, in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago. In 1971, he enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served until his honorable discharge in 1973. He then joined the Union City Police Department in New Jersey, where he served for 13 years. Hugh married Sylvia Lee Kim in 1972, and together they built a life filled with love and family. After relocating to Orlando, Florida, Hugh raised his family while operating a small air conditioning and heating business.

A celebration of Hugh's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at DeGusipe Funeral Home in Maitland, with a reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and honor his memory. Flowers and condolences may be sent to 900 N. Orlando Ave., Maitland, FL 32751.
