Howard Ira Silver, "Howie" age 77, of Oviedo, Florida, passed away on December 12, 2021 after a courageous battle with ALS. Howie was born on September 3rd, 1944 in Brooklyn, New York. He is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Silver and Gert Torres and his sister, Karen Seed.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sallie Silver; his daughter Heather Dixon and her husband Brian of Rogers, AR; his son Jason Silver and his wife Alicia of Oviedo, FL; grandchildren Brooke and Tyler Dixon and Skyla, Gillia and Renner Silver.

His family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the ALS Therapy Development Institute ( www.als.net ) in Howie's memory.
