Horace Dean Williams, age 85, died Monday, April 1, 2019 at Cornerstone Hospice in Tavares, Florida. He was born August 21, 1933 in Belmont, NC to Wylie & Lena Williams and was the middle-born of three sons (Ted & Denny).

Dean joined the army in 1951 and served in the Korean War. In 1957, he moved to Brevard County Florida where he worked as a heavy equipment operator and later as a Superintendent in construction. He enjoyed the everyday challenges in construction and could figure out a solution to almost any problem on the job. He married the "love of his life" Ina Giles Williams in 1965. They share two children. Dean had a great sense of humor and loved Nascar and the Florida Gators.

Dean is survived by his four children, Sonya Cowan of Belmont, NC, Debbie Watrous of Indian Harbor Beach, FL, Bryan Williams of Deltona, FL, & Melissa Grisson of Apopka, FL. He was very fond of his son-in-law Frank Grisson. He leaves behind 10 grandchildren & 7 great-grandchildren.
