Herman F. Murphy, 64, of Clarksville, PA passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022 in his home.
Herman was born on July 17, 1958 in Wilkinsburg, PA the son of Franklin and Dolores (Stoewhaas) Murphy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Michelle Fischer and his brother; Lee Murphy.
Herman "Hunky Herman" was a riverboat captain for Excell Marine where he last worked. Herman was a certified steersman of towing vessels and a radar observer of rivers.
Herman is survived by his son, Shawn Murphy of Ft. Myers, three grandchildren; Ava, Blaze and Shaeley Murphy, great granddaughter; Aubrey, sisters; Fawn Lilley of Clarksville, PA and Patricia (Patty) Rose and husband Ron of Waynesburg, PA, brother; Eddie Murphy of Sycamore, PA, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Arrangements are private and under the direction of the DeGusipe Funeral Home and Crematory, Dolfi Chapel, 65 N. Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, PA, Stacey A. Dolfi, FD.
