Henry "John" Neyhouse, 58 of Groveland, Florida passed away Thursday, August 29, 2019. John was born September 25, 1960 in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri to Reuben John Neyhouse and Anna Margareta Schmitz.

John is survived by his wife, Pam, of Groveland, Florida, daughter Amber Mabie, her husband Derek of Front Royal, Virginia, daughter Staci Marshall of Bristol, Virginia. Grandchildren, Michael Cruz, Scarlett Cruz, Lexy Strickler, Ava Pauline Strickler, D. J. Mabie, Caleb Mabie, Emma Ralls and Hannah Ralls.

John is also survived by many friends. Maryann and John Potter, Jane and John Mandia, Janet and Bob Payne, Carole and Bill Jones, Cathy Anderson-Paton and Mike Neal all of Groveland, Florida and Karen and Carl Moore of Port Charlotte, Florida, and Lisa Baker of Anna Maria Island, Florida.
John was a life member of the Occoquan, Lorton, Woodbridge Volunteer Fire Department. He was a career firefighter with Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority at Washington Dulles International Airport. John was also a member of the Airports Authority response to the Pentagon on September 11.

John volunteered with Southeastern Guide Dogs and his work there brought him much happiness and joy. He volunteered in the training kennel but his work in the veterinary center brought him the most joy.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, September 6 at First United Methodist Church, Clermont, Florida with Rev. Doug Kokx officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial contributions be made to Southeastern Guide Dogs, Inc., 4210 77th Street East, Palmetto, FL 34221.
