Henry E. �Ed� Easterwood, of Largo passed away Friday, May 2, 2014 at home with his loving family at his side. He was born in Cullman, Alabama. He worked for Florida Power now Duke Energy for 40 years retiring as distribution dispatchder. A long time member of Starkey Road Baptist Church where he served as Deacon for many years. Ed was also a member of the Suncoast Wood Carvers Club. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Elsie; loving father of Cynthia Abbott and her husband, Douglas, Stephen Easterwood; devoted grandfather to Elizabeth Abbot and Donovan Edwards �Donny�; brother of Shirley McFadden, Jeanette Ray and Perry Easterwood; also survived by his precious nephews: Michael Jones and his wife, Theresa, Gregory Jones and his wife Tammy. The family will receive friends at the Starkey Road Baptist Church 8800-Starkey Road on Tuesday, May 6 from 12 Noon until time of service at 1 P.M. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
