Helga (Barie) Miele, 79, of Oliver, PA, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at her home with her family by her side.

Helga was born on July 14, 1945, in Kiel-Pres, Germany, the daughter of Fredich and Gurli (Nielsen) Barie.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Patsy Miele Jr.
Helga is survived by her children, Manfred Barie and wife Suzanne of Uniontown, PA, John Anthony Miele and wife Babbette of Uniontown, PA and Tina Marie Miele of Uniontown, PA, 8 grandchildren, Ryan Barie and wife Heidi, Justin Barie and wife Liz, Kayla and Tristan Miele and Haile and Lucian Rapano all of Uniontown, PA, Chelsea Rana and husband Ali of Los Angeles, CA, and Zach Harshman of Uniontown, PA, great grandchild, Zain Rana, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends and family will be received in the DeGusipe Funeral Home and Crematory, 65 N. Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, PA, Stacey A. Dolfi, FD on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at which time a service will be held in the funeral home at 12:00 PM with Pastor Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.
