Helen Bernadine Phillips, 76 of Casselberry, Florida passed away peacefully June 4, 2018.
Helen was born on September 13, 1941 in Chaguanas, Trinidad and Tobago to her mother Sebassie. She married Howard Phillips, an electronics technician in 1968. The family moved from Trinidad and Tobago to Central Florida in 1972 where they remained until Howard's passing in 2014. Helen resided with her daughter Natalie until her passing.
Helen is survived by Her children, Lorraine Mantero, Hank Alvares, Natalie Lackner, Kyle Phillips and Kevin Phillips & sisters, Shirley and Sandra & many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Howard James Phillips.
Helen was passionate about gardening; she and Howard were both University of Florida Extension Service "Florida Master Gardeners". She enjoyed bowling, arts & crafts, and foods from around the world. Howard and Helen owned and operated the Caribbean Deli in Altamonte Springs for several years.
