Helen Young Parker's Obituary
Helen Young Parker passed away December 23, 2015 and will be laid to rest in Swanpoint Cemetery, Providence, RI. She was born January 18, 1929 in Providence, Rhode Island. Her parents were Roger Gano and Ruth Adelaide Young. Preceded in death by her husbands William Anthony Sheppard (Bill) and Garland Parker.
She was a member of the Inverness First Baptist Church and Asbury United Methodist Church Maitland. Helen was a past Worthy Matron of the Inverness Chapter 65 OES.
She leaves behind three children, William Anthony Sheppard IV and wife Maryanne of St. Petersburg, Mark Rogers Sheppard and wife Silvia of Tampa, and Linda Sheppard Wiseman and husband Robert of Maitland. She had nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Barbara Y. Brokaw of Oviedo and five nieces and nephews.
