Harry David Wright was born in Wheelwright Kentucky brother of 9 siblings. He grew up a son of a coalminer and preacher. Harry was very active in high school football then relocated to Melvin Kentucky with his family where he then enlisted in the United States Air Force and served for 4 years. Harry was stationed at Darby Army base in Italy, and was honorably discharged with a rank of E4 Sargent. While in Italy he met Sharon Mae McClain whom he later married after returning home from service, and 2 years later became a loving father of his only child David Michael Wright. Harry continued his education completing 2 years at Rollins College in Orlando, then joined the Orlando Fire Department giving 24 years of honorable service. After the passing of his wife Sharon Mae he later found love again and married Dora Allison. They had a loving relationship until her passing in 2014. Harry was a active member of the VFW Honor Guard at Post 2093. Devoting most of his time Harry was always wanting to help with events, maintenance and activities going on at the post. Harry developed great love for his post members and fellow Veterans and he considered them all a part of his family and would always be there in time of need. Harry D Wright was a great father and a wonderful caring man. The world will be a lesser place without him in it.
