H. Allan Weber, a beloved member the Maitland community and a tireless servant of others, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2024, at the age of 90. Born on September 27, 1934, Allan lived a life filled with purpose, compassion, and unwavering faith.
Allan was dedicated to spreading the word of Christ, both within the church and throughout the community. His involvement in the church was profound, where he served in various ministries, volunteered countless hours, and mentored individuals in their spiritual journeys. Allan's faith was the cornerstone of his life, and his commitment to helping others created an everlasting impact. Leading Bible study groups was a passion of his and one of the many ways he was able to make the world a better place.
In addition to his work with the church, Allan was deeply involved with Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), where he provided hope, support, and guidance to many on their road to sobriety. His own story of perseverance and healing inspired those around him, and his leadership in the AA community will not be forgotten.
As a 1956 graduate of Wabash College, with a Law degree from University of Indiana, Allan possessed a quick wit and sharp mind.
Allan is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Cheryl Weber and his cherished nieces and nephew: Terise Marchelos, Devaney Fort, Christopher Vizzi, and Andrea Nagle.
Allan's legacy of service, mentorship, and faith will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him. He will truly be missed by all, and we are grateful for the 90 years of impact he had on this earth.
A Celebration of Allan's life will be held on January 3, 2025 at 11:00 at Asbury United Methodist Church, 220 Horatio Ave W, Maitland, FL 32751.
