It is with deep sorrow that his family reports the passing of Harry Joseph Price, age 83,
in his home in Sanford, FL on Saturday morning at 12:44 AM, May 20. Known simply as Joe by
his friends and family, he graduated from High School in Englewood, Colorado, in 1957 and in
1958 he joined the Navy. Joe accepted Jesus as his Savior in the Navy. When he was discharged,
he went into mission's training where he met Jana Lee Gilman, whom he married on August 4,
1962. Joe and Jana spent almost 40 years, evangelizing and church planting among the Panare
people of Venezuela. When they retired in 2009, they settled in Sanford, Florida.

Joe was a gentle man of strong faith. His hobbies included collections of various kinds,
reading and spending time with the ones he loved. Joe is survived by his wife Jana, his sons, Jeff
and Joel, three daughters-in-law, eight grandchildren and one sister, Carolyne Ragan. He is
preceded by his parents, his sister, and one son, James.

A Celebration of Life will be held on July 1, 2023, at 2 PM, at The Homes of Ethnos 360
Chapel in Sanford, FL.
