Halina Teresa Mindowicz, 82 of Oviedo, Florida passed away Monday, July 27, 2015. Ms. Mindowicz was born May 9, 1933 in Sieniawa, Poland to Jozef and Jozefa Smola.

She is survived by her daughter Bogda Staruszkiewicz, son in law Adrian, and granddaughter Sabina of Oviedo, Florida; granddaughter Agnieszka Lisik, her husband Krzysztof, and two great grandsons, Maxime and Marcel of Paris, France; grandson Andrzej Janas, his wife Agata, and great granddaughter Maja, of Northampton, England. Halina's final resting place will be in Sienawa, Poland.

Halina immigrated to the United States in 1979 and lived in Windsor Locks, Connecticut until 2005 when she moved to Florida. She spent her last 10 years living with her daughter and her family in Oviedo. She will be missed by family and members of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, where Halina found many friends and enjoyed being involved in many events of the Polish Community.
