Grace Imogene Spellen was born February 11, 1932 and passed away on July 18, 2020. She was born to John and Winnifred Foster in Guyana, South America and was the fourth of eight siblings.

Grace attended Central High School. She worked at Sandbach Parker and the American Embassy in Guyana. In the 1970's she emigrated to the United States where she worked at The Chase Manhattan Bank until she retired.

Grace married Frank Owen Spellen in June of 1952 and through the ensuing years they had four children - Jean, Evelyn, David (deceased) and Gail. Through the years she was blessed with grandchildren Jonathan (deceased), Michelle, Keri, John David and Kelley and great grandchildren, Ashlynn, Joseph, Michael and Avery. She also leaves her sister Rosalind, brother Ronald, sisters-in-law Daphne and Doreen, brothers-in-law Percy and Edmund (Bonnie), nieces, nephews, other family members and numerous friends.

Viewing will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2020, at 3:00pm - 4:00pm; Funeral Service at 4:00pm - 5:00pm; with Reception following the service from 5:00pm to 7:00pm all at DeGusipe Funeral Home, 9001 N.
