Grace Mengani of Winter Springs, died of natural causes on April 3, 2022. She was 94. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York.

As a young woman she was employed by Western Union in New York City as a telephone operator. In 1948, she married, Raymond Mengani, who preceded her in death.. Together they raised four children and moved to Winter Park in 1970. She was named the Goodwill Ambassador of the South Orlando Italian American Club. Mrs. Mengani was a full time mother and a part time Orange County school crossing guard and bus aide.

She is survived by her daughters, Denise Mengani of Falmouth, MA, Karen Gonlin of Tierra Verde, Suzanne MacPherson and son Edward Mengani, both of Orlando.

Grace took the greatest satisfaction from her children's achievements. As a mother she faithfully did the work of love, and earned love's enduring rewards. She will live in our memories and in our hearts.
