Gloria Nilda Santiago, age 90, of Winter Park, Florida, passed away on May 13, 2026.
Gloria was born on November 24, 1935, in Aibonito, Puerto Rico, the daughter of Jose
Santos Santiago and Josefa Santiago Reyes.

She is survived by her children: Carmen Diaz (Luis Diaz), Luis Santiago, Mary Santiago
(Kevin Goddard), Bibiana Santiago, Edwin Santiago (Yolanda), Larry Santiago (Mark
Hoppert), Roberto Santiago (Elizabeth), Anita Vassos (Peter); 7 grandchildren and 2
great grandchildren.

Gloria was married to Rafael Santiago (deceased Command Sergeant Major, US Army)
for 68 years. She devoted her life to her family during her husband's many military
assignments. Gloria had a sense of adventure, traveling the world with her husband.
Her sense of discovery, learning and desire to read was constant. She also enjoyed
music, cooking, sewing, quilting, and gardening. She loved family gatherings. She was
a devout Catholic who was the third order member of the Order of the Blessed Virgin
Mary of Mercy (Mercedarians).

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in memorandum of Gloria Nilda Santiago to
the parish of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Winter Park, Florida.
