Glenn Everette Terry, 83 of Altamonte Springs, Florida passed away December 7, 2018.
Glenn was born December 5, 1935 to J.D and Ressie Terry and raised in Kannapolis, North Carolina. Glenn was foremost a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Beverly Whittaker Terry; his children, Sharlene Kim Pharo (Mark), Shan Annette Terry, Alan Shane Terry, and Micheal Shanuce Terry; grandchildren, Tabetha Annette Terry, Brandi Joan Trade, Koree Ann Terry, John Michael Trade Jr, Taylor Mahatcek, and Michael Glenn Terry; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Patricia Collins, and Evangeline Litton; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Loree Clark, and Claudine Tucker; and granddaughter, Kaylin Sylvia Terry.
Despite coming from very humble means, Glenn was able to build an amazing life. He retired from The Walt Disney Company after 25 years of service. Following his retirement, Glenn and Beverly purchased a summer home in Mount Gilead, North Carolina, where they enjoyed over two decades of fun and friendship.
A celebration of life will be held at 2pm on January 19, 2019 at the DeGusipe Funeral Home, 9001 Orlando Ave, Maitland, Florida. A reception will follow at 3:30PM at the American Legion Old Glory Post 183, 2706 Wells Ave, Casselberry, Florida.
