Moran Ginger Jones, 82, died peacefully on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Solaris Health Center in Lake City, FL.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 1st from 5PM – 7PM at the Degusipe Funeral Home (Sanford, FL) A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 2nd at 10 AM at the Geneva Cemetery.
Ginger Jones Moran was born on October 2nd 1935 in Monett, MO. to Willard H. Jones and Rita C. Jones.
She grew up in Missouri and attended University of Missouri at Kansas City where she received a B.A. in Dental Hygiene in 1959.
The family moved to Sanford, Florida in 1948 where she practice dental hygiene for Dr. Epps. She married Aubrey Moran of Sanford on February 11, 1961. Aubrey became a pharmacist and co-owned Faust Drugstore. She worked for Dr. McWilliams in Deland, FL for over 30 years.
The family moved to Jasper, FL. in 1993 where Ginger continued to practice dental hygiene for Dr. Norris and Dr. Smith until she retired in 2007.
In addition to her career Ginger loved farm animals, gardening and was an avid equestrian. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ.
Ginger is survived by Son, Aubrey Evan Moran, Ronda Robinson of Sanford, FL; Daughter, Amy (Kenneth) Edwards of Jasper, FL.; Grandson Aubrey Evan Willard Moran of Sanford, FL.
She is preceded in death by her Husband, Aubrey Lee Moran; Parents, Willard and Rita C. Jones
