Germaine “Gerry” Pieper of Oviedo passed away on September 30, 2026, at the age of 92.Gerry is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings and her husband, Jack. 

She is survived by her five sons and their families (Bill and Yolanda, Steve and Marla, Bob,Mike and Maribel, and John and Sue), seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Gerry was born in Lena, Wisconsin to Henry and Lena Metzner. She married Jack, a pharmacist, in 1955 and they moved to Florida. She was a loving and dedicated mother and homemaker. She always put family first and in addition to raising five boys, she cared for other children in her home while their parents were at work.

A service is scheduled for Thursday, October 29th at 1:00pm at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in Oviedo. Following mass, Gerry’s family will be attending a private graveside service. Many thanks to all for celebrating Gerry’s life. Her family also expresses gratitude to the staff of Madison at Oviedo for caring for Gerry during her final year of life.
