Gerald Stephen Kiesow, lovingly known as "Jerry," age 76, passed away suddenly on Monday, May 25, 2026, at Health Central Hospital in Ocoee, Florida.
Born on August 8, 1949, Jerry was the son of the late Alfred P. Kiesow and Doris (Cote) Kiesow. A devoted husband, proud veteran, and faithful Christian, Jerry lived a life centered on family, faith, and the simple joys he loved most.
On January 9, 1976, he married the former Karen Gibson, and together they shared a loving marriage that marked 50 years this year. Their bond was one of enduring love, loyalty, and companionship.
Jerry proudly served his country as a member of the Army National Guard for six years and was honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant. Following his military service, he worked for many years with ADT Security Company until his retirement in 2014.
Jerry was an avid bass fisherman who found great peace and happiness on the water. He was also a devoted fan of the Florida Gators and rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on his favorite team. Above all, Jerry was a man of strong Christian faith whose beliefs guided his life and relationships.
He is survived by his loving wife, Karen Kiesow; two brothers, Douglas Kiesow and his wife, Pat, and David Kiesow; along with many cherished nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his sister, Connie Sims.
