George S. Wile, 90 of Treasure Island passed away April 6, 2017. Born in Nova Scotia, he served in the Canadian Army and played hockey, he also loved dancing and golf. George came to the U.S. and was an engineer for NCR, retiring after 28 years. He lived in Bradenton where he owned and operated the Wile Paper Products Co. Upon retirement he moved to Treasure Island. George attended Calvary Chapel and was a member of the American Legion. He is survived by his loving companion, Louise; two brothers: Gerald and Earl of Nova Scotia. Friends will be received at the funeral home Thursday, April 13 from 5-7 P.M. Where there will be a Celebration of Life service at 7. Interment will be in Olean,N.Y.
