George Arthur Price, 89, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 17. He was born on November 19, 1930, in Chester, Pennsylvania, to John Price and Emma Wright Price, both of whom were from England.
He grew up in Linwood, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Upper Chichester High School. Mr. Price was drafted into the United States Marine Corps, and after his discharge in 1954 he attended Temple University.
In 1955, he married Shirley Ann Esbin. He worked at Sun Oil Company for twenty years and then owned and managed, with his wife, the Suncoast KOA Campground in Port Richey, Florida. During his retirement, he worked at Disney's Wide World of Sports, and he sang in the Epcot Candelight Processional for several years.
Mr. Price was a member of Celebration Community Church and went on four mission trips to the Honduras and one to Peru, where he built an airplane hangar.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley; two daughters, Karen Price and Kathy Price; a son, George Bradford Price and his wife, Naomi; and five grandchildren: Eric, Brett, Zoe, Devin, and Sadie.
