It is with great sadness, that the family of George Mathews announces his passing on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at the age of 72 years. George will be lovingly remembered by his five children, Michelle (Chris), George, Linda (Christian), Samantha and Danyelle (Jose). George will also be fondly remembered by his seven grandchildren, Griffin, Kelsey, Kylie, Alexander, Alyssa, Elijah and Ethan; and his two brothers, Ossey (Valsa), Roy (Anita) and four sisters, Rosemary (Joseph), Fatima (Babu), Alice (James) and Molly (Sailesh). George will also be forever remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

A Viewing and Prayer Service will be held on Sunday, February 17, at 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at DeGusipe Funeral Home, 9001 N. Orlando Avenue Maitland, Florida.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in memory of George on Monday, February 18, at 12 PM, at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 861 Maitland Avenue Maitland, Florida 32701 followed by a Graveside Service at Glen Haven Cemetery at 1:30PM.
