George Quinton Gross, father, grandfather, musician and fisherman, died peacefully of natural causes Wednesday, January 21, 2015 in Longwood, FL at the age of 53.
George was born in Warren, Oh on April 14, 1961, attended Lakeview High School and played bass in the 60s rock band, American Entourage, with his brother Ray Gross Jr. throughout the Warren area.
George is survived by his daughter, April (Isaac) Edwards; grandchildren, Sarah & Elijah Edwards; brothers, Ray Jr. (Kim), Jeff (Cathy) and Bruce Gross; and many other loving family and friends. He is preceded in death by his brother, Danny Gross; father, Ray Gross Sr.; and mother, Dolores Wilson.
George was very outgoing, had a warm heart and was a great friend to a lot of people always smiling, laughing and making jokes. He loved the outdoors, fishing and camping with close family and friends. George will never be forgotten and will be missed dearly.
Cremation has taken place. His ashes along with his mother and step father, Dolores and Les Wilson, will be spread by family during a private memorial in Florida. Condolences can also be posted at
