George Francis Desalvia's Obituary
George Francis DeSalvia, age 75, of Winter Garden, Florida, passed away on May 1st, 2021. George was born on April 23rd, 1946, in Staten Island, New York, the son of Rocco and Majorie DeSalvia.
George is survived by his wife, Janice (Bartolomeo) DeSalvia, preceded in his death by son George Stefan DeSalvia, survived by his son Derek DeSalvia, grandchildren, granddaughter Vanessa Price, grandson George DeSalvia, grandson Anthony DeSalvia, grandson Stefan De-Salvia, and granddaughter Micalea DeSalvia.
George was a military veteran having served in the Vietnam War, a New York City Police Officer, loving husband, son, brother, father, and grandfather. George was always known for his caring, jovial, and generous character that will be deeply missed.
The Memorial Mass will be held at Resurrection Catholic Church at 12:30pm on Friday May 14th, 2021 at 1211 Winter Garden Vineland Rd, Winter Garden 34787.
Flowers can be sent to the church or donations may be made to Tunnels to Towers for our brave military soldiers and fallen officers
