George Thomas Cason Jr., 71, of Orlando, Florida, went to be with the Lord on April 2, 2025. He was born on November 25, 1953, in Orlando, Florida, to George T. Cason Sr. and Lila B. Cason.

Tom was a beloved husband, father, grandfather. He was known for his sharp style, quick wit, relaxed demeanor, sense of humor, and generous spirit. Tom graduated from Stetson University with a degree in Business, where he was a member of Pi Kappa Phi and enjoyed playing banjo in his local band, Flatland. After graduating, he joined his father in building their family business, Florida Favorite Fertilizer, Inc. and owned and operated citrus groves. He went on to pursue many endeavors, eventually finding his stride in the insurance business with TK Insurance & Financial Services. Tom was passionate about the Florida Gators, bluegrass music, sailing, golf, cooking, automobiles, but his greatest passion was his family.

Tom is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary Wright Cason; son, George T. Cason III and his wife Melissa; daughter, Lee Cason Titcomb and her husband Brenton; sister, Lucinda C. Vaughn; and his seven grandchildren; Claire Taylor Cason, George Thomas Cason IV, James Lee Cason, Miles Richard Cason, Emma Lee Taylor Titcomb, Margaret Elizabeth Grace Titcomb and Jackson Ellwood Thomas Titcomb. He was predeceased by his father, George T. Cason Sr., and his mother, Lila B. Cason.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on April 12, 2025, at Palm Cemetery in Winter Park, Florida. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to The Geneva School at 1775 Seminola Blvd, Casselberry, FL 32707.
