Gaylord Yochum, 91 of Winter Park, FL passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 after a short illness. Gaylord was born November 15, 1922 in Townville, PA to Gerdon and Avis Yochum.
He was a 59 year member of Tyrian-Commonwealth Masonic Lodge #362, Scottish Rite- Valley of Erie, York Rite, Mt. Olivet Commandery,#30, Jerusalem Council #33, R&SM and Erepa Grotto, all of Erie, PA and a member of Bahia Shrine, Orlando, FL. He was a Director in the Greater Orlando Bowling Association and was inducted into the Orlando Regional USBC Association Hall of Fame in 2011. He bowled in the ABC-USBC Nationals for 34 years.
Gaylord married Nancy J. Cooke on August 26, 1967, who survives at home. Moved to Orlando, FL and was employed by Walt Disney World; retiring in 1986. He also owned and operated Yochum Repair Service until 2012. Was a member of the Golden 'Ears club.
Gaylord is survived by his sister, Janet Crawford, several nieces and nephews and their families. Proceeded in death by parents, brothers Ken and George Yochum.
Visitation on Sunday, September 21,2014 from 4:00 PM-5:30 PM followed by funeral services at DeGusipe Funeral Home, 9100 N. Orlando Avenue, Maitland, FL
