Gary William Wasson passed away unexpectedly in Altamonte Springs, FL on September 30, 2023 at
the age of 69.
Gary was the beloved husband of Cathy and devoted father of Erin and Taylor. He is also survived by his
sister Joan Fahrner and his nieces, nephews-in-law, and great nieces.
Gary was born on July 31, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan to Jack and Betty Wasson. He met his wife while
attending Ferris State College earning degrees in Porous Plastics Technology and Marketing. They
married in March 1984, and eventually settled in Longwood, FL in 1990.
Gary enjoyed golfing with his friends, cheering for both the Wolverines and the Detroit Lions, and he
loved restoring old stereos in his spare time. Watching classic Horror movies and playing Fantasy
football were two of his favorite activities to do with his daughters.
