Gary Wade Uphold, 59, of Farmington, PA, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2026, at his home with his family by his side.

Gary was born on April 10, 1966, in Oakland, MD, the son of Theodore Angelo and Mary (Guthrie) Uphold.

Gary was a lifetime member of the Wharton Township Hunting and Fishing Club. He worked alongside his father as a logger for 23 years with their logging company. Gary was owner and operator of Uphold Trucking for 25 years.

Gary is survived by his wife Dolores "Chris" C. (Knotts) Uphold, daughters, Erica Kelley and husband Jason of Alaska, Rebecca Hughes and husband Eric of Farmington, PA, and Sara Uphold of Farmington, PA, grandchildren, Jason Kelley Jr., Corbin Kelley, Jaelynn Kelley, Julienne Kelley, Madelynn Hughes, Taylor Hughes, Cameron Hughes and Marshall Hughes, brother, Jeffrey Uphold and wife Gloria of Oakland, MD; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Arrangements are private and under the direction of the DeGusipe Funeral Home and Crematory, 65 N. Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, PA, 15401, Stacey A. Dolfi, FD. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
