Gary John Moskop was born in Dupo, Illinois, as the "older" twin with brother Larry.
He loved sports and played baseball and football constantly as a child.
His family consisted of dad (Clark Sr.), Mother Dorothy, older sister Marsha, younger brother Clark Jr. and little sister Dottie Sue. He was also lovingly raised by grandma Emma and Grandpa Les.
In elementary school he attended Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic School. Along with twin brother Larry, he was an alter boy at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.
As a teen he attended Dupo High School where he excelled at sports, especially baseball and football.
His skill on the football field earned him a scholarship at Eastern Illinois University. There he obtained a degree in education and business administration.
After finishing college, he immediately moved to Florida where he met and married Annette Amato Moskop who quickly surrounded him with love and brought him into her large Italian family. Together they became happily and deeply ingrained in their Catholic faith at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, Altamonte Springs, Florida.
Gary was a proud 4th degree Knight (Knights of Columbus # 5618), president and treasurer of the St. Mary Magdalen Men's Club, sat on the board of the Parish Counsel, sat on the board of SMM School Counsel and most recently was involved with
supporting the children of the Peace Orphanage, Mexico City, Mexico.
Gary and Annette were avid travelers. Much of their travel revolved Catholic Pilgrimages and they traveled to Israel more than a dozen times.
Travel also centered around his love of sports including his adopted college, UCF - University of Central Florida where he headed up the chain crew for over 20 years.
One of his favorite trips was bringing the chain crew with him to Dublin Ireland to play on the "pitch" at Croke Park against Penn State University. UCF lost by only 1 point.
He is survived by his devoted wife Annette (47 years), daughter Pam (Jeff) Marcum and granddaughter Ashley Morgan.
