GAIL DUNOVANT MANUEL
Lake Mary, FL – Gail Dunovant Manuel, 67, passed away on June 6, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Draper Pentecostal Holiness Church in Eden, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 (or website address stjude.org).
Born on May 4, 1947, she was the daughter of the late James Warren and Roberta Marie Meadows Dunovant of Eden, NC.
She is survived by her daughter, Alyson Dupree Linder, son-in-law Robert Scott Linder and grandson Dylan Robert Linder of Lake Mary, FL and her brother Warren Michael Dunovant and nephews of Eden, NC. She was predeceased by her former spouse Dwight Keith Manuel.
Gail was employed by Verizon Wireless in Laurinburg, NC and Rockingham, NC for the majority of her career. She also worked for Community Homecare and Hospice of Dillon, SC and Lumberton, NC before retiring to Florida in June 2013. Above all, she was a loving mother, grandmother and very loyal, trusted friend.
