Mrs. Gail Bartholic Letarte passed away peacefully on March 20, 2025, at the Suncoast Hospice Care Center Bayfront in St. Petersburg, Florida, at the age of 73. Gail was born on August 10, 1951, to the late Leroy Thomas and Mary Bartholic of Central Village, Connecticut. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Letarte of St. Petersburg, FL; her daughter, Jessica Richmond, and husband John Richmond of Longs, SC; grandsons Zachary Perry and his wife Victoria of Loris, SC, and Kyle Perry and his wife Kaylla of Pomfret, CT. She is also survived by her daughter Heidi Boiteau and husband Jason Boiteau of Blackstone, MA; granddaughters Amber Boiteau and her fiancé Ryan of Ballston Spa, NY, and Alexis Boiteau of Blackstone, MA. Gail is also survived by her stepson Sean Letarte and his wife Rebecca of Dover-Foxcroft, ME; step-granddaughters Caitlin and Aimee; and step-grandsons Colin and Ethan. She leaves behind her brother John Bartholic and wife Nancy, sister-in-law Dawne Bartholic, brother-in-law David Letarte and wife Sheila, brother-in-law Leo and wife Nancy, sister-in-law Debbie and several
nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Thomas Bartholic Sr. and her niece Heather Bartholic. Gail had a long career, working at Kaman Aerospace and later at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut.
After relocating to Florida, she worked at Bella's Department Store. She was active in bowling leagues in both Connecticut and Florida, and enjoyed reading, watching NASCAR, and cheering for the Boston Red Sox and Tampa Bay Rays. She loved spending time at the poolside clubhouse with neighbors and cherished watching her granddaughters perform in dance recitals. A memorial service is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on May 22, 2025, at Bay Pines National Cemetery in St. Petersburg, FL. A reception will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Village Green Ballroom. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Gail's life.
