Obituary

Gail Margaret (Severson) Clark, 78, of Ocoee, Florida, passed away January 9, 2021, due to complications after surgery.

She was born in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, to the late Fern and Margaret Severson and was reared in Racine, Wisconsin, before moving to Ocoee, Florida, in 1969. In 1984, she married Marvin Clark who she met while both worked at then Florida Gas Company. Gail later retired from Walmart where she relished the customer interaction.

Gail took great pleasure posting to Facebook, many of which showed her testimony to Jesus Christ and her desire for positive and peaceful actions. Her favorite restaurants included Olive Garden and Cracker Barrel. She occasionally played bingo at the Tom Ison Seniors and Veterans Center. She also enjoyed a daily walk with one of several cats she and Marvin have. Like many of you, she loved looking at clouds and imagining animals and such. And oh, the delight of a rocket launch!

She will be deeply missed and is survived by her children Corey (Meg) Drotzur, Melanie Castillo, and Lee "Kevin" (Peeraya "Nok") Drotzur along with siblings Jean Schattner, Gordon "Gordy" Severson, and Marian "Mary" (Don) Carmody, and sister-in-law Lori Clark. She will be greatly remembered by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends in various states of the country.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Peggy "Peg" Guschl.

Gail asked that she be remembered as she was and that no service be held. Her ashes will be spread by family at a later date.

The family of Gail Margaret (Severson) Clark invites you to leave a message of condolence on the Tribute Wall created in her loving memory.
