Mr. Frederick David Hoppe, Sr. died peacefully at home on May 27th at 6:50AM, in Orlando, Florida, at the age of 93.
Mr. Hoppe was survived by his four children: Janet M. Lebow of Virginia Beach, Virginia; Diane L. Gonzalez, of Summerfield, Florida; Frederick D. Hoppe, Jr. of Orlando, Florida, and Paul W. Hoppe of Orlando, Florida, and his two grandchildren, Mathew R. Hudson of Las Vegas, Nevada, and George "Frankie" Hudson, III, of Brooklyn, New York.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Elizabeth A. Hoppe, of Chicago, Illinois; his mother, father, two sisters and his brother.
Mr. Hoppe was born on December 8, 1930, in Chicago, Illinois to Henry and Amalia (Miller) Hoppe.
Mr. Frederick David Hoppe, Sr. entered into active military duty in February of 1948 and served his country honorably in the United States Navy for a period of 30 years, retiring with the rank of CWO3. During this period of active service, he received the following decorations:

Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal (Cuba)
National Defense Medal
European Occupation Medal
Silver Star (5 Awards)
After retiring from the armed forces in 1978, Mr. Hoppe pursued a very successful career in real estate, after which he retired to Winter Park, Florida.
Arrangements are private and under the direction of DeGusipe Funeral Home and Crematory. Interment is private under the direction of the Bushnell National Cemetery.
