Frederick Boette,Sr. 72 a native of St. Petersburg died peacefully at home Sunday, May 28, 2017 after a long illness. Born to the late Conrad and Lois Boette, he was a graduate of St. Pete High School and received his masters degree in teaching from U.S.F. He taught a Plant High School for 39.6 years and was loved by his students and co-workers. While growing up in St. Petersburg he attended Our Savior Lutheran Church and was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Cathedral. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his siblings, Conrad Boette and Linda Dell. Fred is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Sherrell Goodyear Boette; he is the loving father of Jennifer Bowen, Frederick F. Boette Jr (Theresa). and Sarah B. Mace (Chuck); loving brother of Lois B. Niendorf; devoted grandfather of Charles Mace II and Anna Lee Bowen; great grandfather of Natilee Nicotera; nieces and nephews. His life was one of giving to his wife, children, grandchildren, friends and as a teacher for 39.6 years which he loved. A Memorial Service will be celebrated at the St. Peter's Episcopal Cathedral on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 11 A.M. Fred, you are gooder than good, we'll miss your grand smile. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Peter's or Our Savior.
