Obituary

Freda "Eloise" Bierer Lewis, 83, of St. Petersburg, FL, passed away peacefully on April 28 surrounded by her loved ones. Eloise was born on December 10, 1939, to Harold and Virginia Miller in Point Marion, PA. She married Lawrence Bierer in 1958 and they went on to have four children. She was the owner and operator of Bierer's Flower Shop for over 25 years where she cultivated her passion for making flower arrangements. She was an active member of Great Bethel Baptist Church in Uniontown, PA, participating in the adult choir, Sunday school and BYF to mentor the youth members of the church. In 1989 she moved to Florida, worked at Delma's Flower Booth, maintained an active membership at First Baptist Church and was very involved in giving back to her community.
After the passing of her first husband, she was blessed to find a second love in Robert "Bob" Lewis who loved to take her fishing and traveling. She had a fondness for spending time with her close circle of friends She found great delight in gardening and baking. Her enthusiasm in preparing her home for each holiday brought happiness and delight to all who visited.. She also spent her time in bible study, reading, singing in the choir and volunteering at the local elementary school and nursing home.
Eloise is preceded in death by her husband(s), parents and brother, Barry Miller. She is survived by her brother Darwin Miller, sister Cindy Lytle, and children: Debbie (Vaughn) Bill, Becky (Charlie) Trump, Dave (Sharon) Bierer, Barb (Butch) Shaffer, nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Eloise will be remembered for her kindness, generosity and loving nature. She made an impact on everyone she met and will be deeply missed by all.
