Frank Donald Muscarella passed on June 2, 2026, after health issues and recent hospitalization
in Altamonte Springs, FL. He died just 27 days shy of his 93rd birthday. He lived a full and meaningful 92 years with his loving family.
Frank was born in Rochester, NY on June 29, 1933 to Joseph and Rose Muscarella, the second of
three children. New York is where he resided for 45 years, working for General Dynamics until
he retired in 1996 from the same company.
After meeting and marrying Betty, the love of his life in 1965 in Rochester, NY, they raised their
two children, Joe and Debbie. On June 2, 1978 Frank's family relocated to Orlando, Florida with
his company. He enjoyed fishing, reading, bocce, playing cards, annual beach vacations, and 21
cruises.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty Muscarella; his son, Joseph Muscarella and
daughter-in-law, Robin Muscarella of Orlando, FL; his daughter, Debra Burns and son-in-law, Steve
Burns, of Dallas, TX; and grandson, Noah Muscarella of Orlando, FL. Additionally, he is survived by his loving sister, JoAnn Cannarozzo of Rochester, NY.
He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Rose Muscarella; his brother, Peter
Muscarella; his daughter, Donna Muscarella; his in-laws, Sam and Ann Passarell; and his
brothers-in-law, Joe Passarell, and Rodney Cannarozzo Sr.; and a nephew, Rodney Cannarozzo Jr.
He leaves behind a wealth of friends from Escondido Condominium. His most recent adventure
was meeting new friends at Cascade Heights. Frank left a positive impression everywhere he
went. He had a big heart, loved a good joke, he cared about people, and had a strong faith in
the Lord.
He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing
him.
A Funeral Mass is scheduled for Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 10:00am at St. Mary Magdalen
Catholic Church at 861 Maitland Avenue in Altamonte Springs, FL 32701. Reception to follow.
