Obituary

Frank Fagan of Heathrow, FL passed away on June 11, 2018. He was born July 24, 1925 to Frank and Etta Fagan in State College, PA. He grew up with his sister Anne during the Great Depression. He had fond memories of hunting rabbits with his father and liked to think of himself as just a country boy. But he was much more than that. Frank was a talented musician playing trumpet in his teenage years and attended the Interlochen Music School in Michigan. He was a Patriot enlisting at the age of 17 during World War II. Frank saw combat as a Field Artilleryman in the U.S. Army in New Guinea as part of the Pacific Island campaign. After victory in the Pacific he was part of the American Forces stationed in Japan assisting in the peaceful transition.

He was a gifted Engineer, graduating from Pennsylvania State University with a Chemical Engineering degree and worked for Mobil Oil until he retired as Vice President of Technology Sales and Licensing.

But mostly he was a wonderful family man. A devoted husband happily married for 68 years. He is survived by his wife and 5 children. Frank and Anna set the standard for what a marriage should be. Each one of his 5 children Theresa, Frank, Nancy, Michael, and Ginger will confirm that no one could have had a better father. He was proud to have 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

He was a good, kind man who always took care of his family. In retirement he enjoyed taking Ocean cruises with his family. He stayed current with politics and dabbled in the art of stock trading. He was the definition of a true Gentleman thru his entire life.

The family will have a private Celebration of life at a later date.
