Frank Paul Apuzzo Sr.'s Obituary
Frank Paul Apuzzo, 93, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather was called
home on May 3, 2014 with his wife Jean of 57 years by his side. Frank, son of Alexander and
Carmella Apuzzo was born October 26, 1920 in Berwyn, IL. a date he never forgot.
After college he went to work for Uhlmann Optical for 40 years until he retired and moved his family to Longwood, FL in 1980. He and Jean immediately immersed themselves into life at
Annunciation Catholic Church in Altamonte Springs.
He will be remembered for his love and loyalty to his family, friends and church. In addition
to his wife he is survived by his children: Joyce Dumas (Chris), Jim (Michelle), Frank (Kim),
Julie Schaefer (Tom) and Lisa Baird (Bob); 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
The Public Visitation will be on Thursday May 8, 2014 from 6:00pm-8:00pm with a prayer service starting at 8pm at DeGusipe Funeral Home on Hwy.17-92 in Maitland, FL. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday May 9, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Annunciation Catholic Church. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Simon's Angels simonsangels.webs.com .
