Frank Joseph Ambrose, 74, passed away on October 17, 2022. He was born to Raymond M. Ambrose and Evelyn Kowalyshon in Denver, Colorado on July 22, 1948.
He married the love of his life Barbara and they lived together for many wonderful years in Longwood, Florida.
Frank was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, having served in Vietnam where he was awarded 3 Purple Hearts and the Silver Star Medal for bravery in combat. After the service, Frank obtained his degree in Criminal Justice and was a Law Enforcement officer in Florida for 24 years.
Frank enjoyed traveling in his RV with Barbara, hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle, going on cruises and making great memories with his beloved dogs.
Frank was the proud father of Brent (Valerie) Wardell, Craig Wardell (Cathy Shelest), Michael Tibbs (Allison Mercer) and Shawna (Chris) Traynor.
He is survived by his brothers Ray (Shirley) Ambrose, Bob (Becky) Ambrose, Milton (Debbie) Ambrose, sister-in-law Kay Ambrose and 7 grandchildren, Jake, Ryan and Connor Wardell; David, Matthew and Noah Traynor, and Isabella Tibbs. Frank was preceded in death by his wife Barbara and brother Gordon Ambrose.
