Francis "Franny" Zdankowski, 61, of Longwood, Florida, passed away on February 11, 2020. Franny is survived by his wife Laurie of 35 years, daughters Jennifer and Sarah, son-in-laws Brian and Jonathan, sisters Carol and Marion, extended family and friends, and of course, his loving dogs, Buddy and Papi. Franny was a loving father, husband and a friend to everyone.
He was born August 22, 1958 in Boston, Massachusetts to Marian and Elizabeth Zdankowski. He met Laurie in 1984 in Boston and they married the next year. They moved to Florida in 1985 and Franny opened his landscaping business, Boston's Finest, which he ran for 25 years. Then he and Laurie opened up Good Sports in 2001.
Franny loved Boston sports, especially the Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins and Celtics. He spent his free time watching various sports games live and on TV. He also enjoyed taking his Harley Davidson motorcycle out around town. Franny also was a dog lover, taking Buddy and Papi out on walks every morning.
