Francis had no children of his own but felt blessed by the children he taught and loved his nieces and nephew. In the past few years, he found much pleasure with his rescue dog "Loki". He also loved to travel, garden, and do home improvements.
Francis had a zest for life, love of art, and kindness that will be remembered by his family and friends. Burial at a private family service will take place at a later date.
