Francis Burdette Kramer

Francis "Frank" Kramer died peacefully in his home in Winter Springs, Florida on December 13, 2014. Frank was born in Strawberry Point, Iowa, the third son of Lloyd and Edith Kramer. At age 17 he enlisted in the USAF and served in Germany during the Korean war. Upon returning from service he attended the University of Minnesota where he met and married Sharon Latham in 1957. The couple moved to Maryland and welcomed a daughter, Colette, in 1961, and a son, David, in 1964 to their family. Following the loss of Sharon in 1996, Frank retired from his job as an editor and moved to Florida in 1998. He resumed a friendship with Pauline Cooper which blossomed into a romantic partnership that saw the couple travel extensively over the next 16 years. Frank enjoyed cooking, had an eclectic interest in art and enjoyed exploring new places and playing tennis Frank was a loving, kind and generous man who will be greatly missed by his many friends, family and beloved Pauline. He is preceded in death by his wife Sharon and his elder brothers Eugene and Donald. He is survived by Pauline, his younger brother Robert, his daughter Colette Moore, his son David and his four grandchildren Jennifer Moore, Casey Moore, Nathan Kramer and Ryan Kramer.
