Frances P. Yeske (Frances P. Waters), 88, of Gulfport, Florida died peacefully at Bayfront Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida surrounded by her loving family on February 18, 2024.

Fran is survived by her daughter Vicky Ouellette and her husband Dean of New Hartford, Connecticut; her daughter Sheryl (Sam) Yeske of Avon, Connecticut; her grandson and his wife, Dustin Ouellette and Taren Ouellette of Edgewater, Maryland; her granddaughter Chelsea Ouellette and her boyfriend Ryan Afable of Waltham, Massachusetts, and many very special nieces and nephews and brother-in-law and sister-in-laws.

Fran was born on November 14, 1935 in Englewood, New Jersey to the late Charles Waters and Susan Celentano. As an infant, her father passed away and Susan married Douglas Hinman, the only father she ever knew, and she was raised by him as his own daughter. She was married for 53 years to her high school sweetheart the late Victor Yeske, Jr. who predeceased her in 2008.

Fran graduated from The Gilbert School in the Class of 1953 and remained close friends with many of her classmates all these years. She worked in the food industry for many, many years catering banquets and waitressing and in her later years at Best Cleaners until her retirement from Connecticut to Florida. Besides her love for her family and friends, which were the most important things to her in her life, she had a love of sewing and making crafts for family, friends, and neighbors. It gave her such joy to give gifts to family and friends that were homemade by her.

Fran and Vic moved to Town Shores in Gulfport, Florida back in 1996 and made their home here in this amazing community of friends. She enjoyed many activities at Town Shores being the social director and helping plan dances and parties and going on some bus trips and luncheons with her friends here. And then in later years, continuing to play bingo here with her friends and the occasional casino trips.

A celebration of life will be held in Gulfport, Florida by the family at a later time.
